Day 5: Living in True Freedom

“…the more you did just what you felt like doing…the worse your life became and the less freedom you had.”

Devotional
The world defines freedom as doing whatever you want. But the Bible reveals the truth: that kind of freedom actually leads to bondage. When we follow every desire, we become trapped by our impulses, habits, and addictions.  Real freedom comes from living God’s way. When we surrender to Christ:  our lives begin to heal, our hearts expand and our identity becomes clear.  The enemy steals identity through deception.  God restores identity through truth.  Your freedom grows when your life reflects holiness and obedience to God.

What lies about freedom has the enemy planted in my life?
How has obedience to God actually brought more peace or clarity?
What step can I take today to live more fully in God’s freedom?

Prayer
Lord, thank You for the freedom found in Christ. Help me reject the lies of the enemy and walk in the truth of who I am in You. Amen.
