Before Christ, we served sin—even if we did not realize it. Our desires controlled us, and our choices led us further away from God. But salvation changes our allegiance. Paul teaches that we must now offer our lives to righteousness. This includes our talents, abilities, thoughts, and actions. Sanctification means being set apart for God’s purpose. It is the process of becoming the person God designed you to be.
The enemy stole your identity through sin. God restores it through righteousness.

Reflection Questions
1. What areas of my life have I not fully surrendered to God?
2. How can I use my abilities and talents for God’s purpose?
3. What does living a sanctified life look like for me today?

Prayer
Father, I surrender my mind, my body, and my gifts to You. Use my life for Your purpose and continue shaping me into who You created me to be. Amen.

Iniquity is deeper than making a mistake—it is habitual sin that shapes our character. It happens when we repeatedly choose our will over God’s will. Jesus warned that some people would appear religious but still live in lawlessness. Why? Because identity is not defined by what we say, but by how we live. The enemy wants us to believe grace means sin no longer matters. But true grace does not excuse sin—it empowers transformation. Taking back your identity means refusing to let sin define who you are.

Reflection Questions
1. Are there areas where I have normalized sin in my life?
2. Do my daily actions reflect my identity in Christ?
3. What habits need to change for me to live in righteousness?

Prayer
Lord, expose every area of lawlessness in my life. Give me the courage to repent and the strength to live in holiness. I choose to walk in the identity You have given me. Amen.

But God calls these things evil because they distort who we were created to be.

Taking back your identity begins with a decision:
Love what God loves.
